The C2798G is a 250 MHz QAM IF downconverter. The C2798G is a Silicon MMIC Downconverter manufactured with the NESAT.III silicon bipolar process. The C2798G consists of an input AGC amplifier, mixer, local oscillator, and video amplifier. It is housed in a small 20 pin SSOP package. The C2798G is designed for use as an IF downconverter for digital CATV settops and cable modems utilizing QAM modulation.
