The SP233ACT is an Enhanced RS-232 Line Driver/Receiver. It is pin-to-pin compatible with popular industry standards. As with the initial versions, the SP233ACT features at least 120Kbps data rate under load, 0.1μF charge pump capacitors, and overall ruggedness for commercial applications. This device also features Sipex’s BiCMOS design allowing low power operation without sacrificing performance. The SP233ACT is available in plastic DIP and SOIC packages operating over the commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
